Why donate?

The cost of playing amateur summer baseball is not what it used to be. Having the dream of playing college baseball is not enough; you must play a time-intensive, rigorous schedule against top competition in order to maximize your playing time in front of college recruiters. Like many things in life, this costs money. Many summer programs are between $2000 and $3500 per player, and that does not include the cost of airfare/travel, food, hotel accommodations, and time away from work for many parents.

Donations in any and all amounts are greatly appreciated. For more information, please contact us at info@phoenixscholarship.org

How can I help?

Tournament Fees

In order to participate in tournaments, each team must pay a fee. Each participating player is charged accordingly to cover that cost.

Showcases, Camps, & Videos

Being seen is the most important part of recruiting. Showcases, camps, and skills videos are great opportunities for players to display their skills in a controlled setting.

Travel & Transportation

This includes, but is not limited to: airfare, fuel, rental car costs, public transportation, etc.

Lodging

The cost of hotel rooms. Even if a player travels unaccompanied, for tournaments away from home, a hotel room is usually required.

Equipment

This includes, but is not limited to  uniform fees, various equipment needs, laundry, etc.

Food/water

Players are responsible for their own meals and drinks. For longer tournaments, this is a cost that adds up.
